I thought it was very cool how you created the form of the fish with the use of negative space and I thought it was interesting how you have expanded the topic of fish from regular koi-type fish other types (the seahorse). Maybe in the future you could play with the concept of negative space even further through different methods (like posing objects in such a way that creates the form in the negatve space and then taking a picture of it). Overall, I love these play pages!

I like how your processes are slowly evolving each week. I like how you are starting to venture off into other types of fish and ocean animals than just the simple fish. I liked the use of outside materials like colored pencils and also the use of negative space. One of the pieces that is particularly successful or enjoyable to see was the koi fish piece from last weeks post. In the future, I would like to see maybe less illustrations of fish and having some other creative way of portraying them. Overall I thought your pieces were very nice.

I really like how on the last one you used the negative space to create an image. Also I like how your image of the fish changes as you keep developing your idea. You could possibly try other non conventional types of media such as sculpture from objects around your house. Maybe in the future you could focus on a certain aspect of the fish and emphasis it such as the movement of fish or the way light reflects off of the fish. Overall I really liked your pieces!

These look really cool! I like your idea. You've started to expand upon the materials that you're using, which is good. Maybe try to start moving away more from traditional materials. You could experiment with some other things, maybe try something more 3 dimensional. I really like the betta fish, although I might be biased because I own one. But I thought that that piece was very effective. Overall, good job!
